Buoys for the department of Waterways and Public Works

The plastic buoys fitted with solar panels we have developed help to save Rijkswaterstaat millions of euros. The old iron buoys used to be taken ashore every 2.5 years to blast them on the shore, paint them and provide them with a new chain. This time-consuming and costly ritual is now a thing of the past with the innovative solution from RKT. Between 200 and 500 plastic buoys are expected to be produced annually in the coming years.
